Rakh Sarai Amanat Khan Conservation Reserve
Rakh Sarai Amanant Khan is situated in Amritsar and is spread over 1223 Acres of Government land.This area was declared as Conservation Reserve vide Notification. 34/8/2010/Ft-5/ 3008 dated 31.3.2010 under section 36A of Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972. Important Fauna are : Jackal, Wild hare, Wild boar, Jungle Cat, Mongoose, Partridge, Peafowl, Dove, Pigeon, Parrots etc. and Important Flora are -Eucalyptus, Shisham, Kikar, Khair, Muscat, Subabool, Lasura, Arjun etc.
