Deer Park Neelon

Deer Park Neelon was established in the year 1972-73 in compact forests of 2.5 hectare on the bank of old Sirhind canal near village Neelon of district Ludhiana. Presently it houses 97 animals and birds belonging to 6 species. It is situated 25 Km away from Ludhiana on Ludhiana-Chandigarh Highway or 8 Km from Samrala. The main species are Black buck, Porcupine, Plum headed parakeets and few exotic species like Budgerigars, Cockatiel.
